6 of the best petrol lawn mowers for large gardens

Lawn mowers come in many shapes and sizes, with electric, cordless, manual, and petrol devices on offer for every type of garden and gardener. Normally, we would recommend a cordless option for the convenience they offer, but sometimes these devices just don’t cut it (get it?).

Larger lawns demand a little more power, and for that you’ll need a petrol mower. These can go for longer, with motor assistance helping you get around your property. They are also pretty noisy and powerful, which is kind of cool if you’re into that sort of thing.

Google reveals first official image of new, portable Nest smart speaker after photo leak

Here’s our first official look at Google’s new Nest smart speaker.

As first spotted by Android Police, leaked images of the unit show it’s about 22cm (8.66in) tall and the fabric covering extends around most of its area. It’s slimmer than the Google Home Max, and the form factor is, let’s say, in portrait rather than landscape.

After Mashable reached out to Google, we were provided the above promotional image of the unit and the below video showing it being used in a home environment. Or to be more precise, showing two of the units placed on a shelf behind a couch, as well as being moved around the home, emphasising portability.  Read more…

Leaked specs show the Galaxy Tab S7+ could include a massive battery

Samsung’s Unpacked 2020 event is less than a month away, and it’s safe to say the leaks are in full swing. In addition to the Note 20 Ultra, it appears we have more information about the flagship Galaxy Tab S7 that Samsung might also announce at the event.

A few months ago, SamMobile reported the Tab S7 would be available in two sizes: an 11-inch and 12.4-inch version (known as the Tab S7+). Now, the publication reports that it has a few more details on exactly what to expect for the bigger version.

Apparently, the S7+ will include an AMOLED display (complete with an in-display fingerprint sensor) with a 2,800 by 1,752 pixel resolution. It’s also set to support the S Pen complete with built-in Bluetooth. As with the Tab S6, you’ll likely be able to use the S Pen as a remote to take photos, click through PowerPoint presentations, and more. Read more…

Amazon fined $135,000 in sanctions violations for letting blacklisted entities shop

Drug dealers and weapons of mass destruction manufacturers like to shop on Amazon as much as the next guy. But that doesn’t mean they’re allowed to.

On Wednesday, the Department of the Treasury announced it had reached a settlement with Amazon for trade sanctions violations. Amazon voluntarily disclosed to the government that between 2011 and 2018, its automatic screening processes had failed to stop blacklisted individuals as well as people residing in countries under trade sanctions such as Iran, Syria, and Crimea from buying goods and services on the site.

The maximum penalty for the violations is a bit over $1 billion. However, Amazon will be paying just under $135,000. Read more…
